I bought a relatively expensive initial parcel of Aqd many many years ago at 16c as suggested by one of AQD's other directors, and have been underwater ever since.
Just bad timing, maybe & perhaps, the generall market hasn't helped either.
There've been many disgruntled shareholders at AGM's over the years who've been similarly upset however in those days Graeme was working on Burkina Faso, Manganese in Oz etc and of more recent times Fraser Range and Peru with the genuine aim to turn the prior less positive sentiment around.
Graeme is always personable, and does listen to small and larger investors concerns and comments with more respect than most of the other "St Georges Terrace type lounge lizards" i.e. the so called "entrepreneur" dudes who just suck up shares and wages without a true effort or a solid "go" on behalf of anyone but themselves, shortsighted I call that, very bad behaviour indeed.
The Graeme Drew story is interesting and yes I agree Ellis is successful and capable of pulling off major deals.
I still remain optimistic and have also accumulated and not sold any shares trusting that Peru, or Fraser or other good geo tenure may save our bacon..
Time will tell, at least the challenges will be met with a fight, I'm keen to have a day in the sun for many reasons, one of which will honour a very dear and past family member whom helped me enormously, and success with Aqd will mean much to restore my faith that the money was not badly misplaced, so "no pressure Graeme!" ... lets look forward not back, to far better times, given both luck skill and plus the Drew factor will in time prevail.
I really hope your drilling mate is the real deal, and that he knows something great that we don't yet appreciate TW, for both our sakes!!.
