WEC director Hans Mende is likely the one who opens the door for Mountainside Coal to the export market. His investment group AMCI - one of the big WEC shareholders - also owns Enerco BV. Enerco describes itself as "the leadling producer of high quality, low ash coal world-wide.... offers the whole spectrum of customer oriented services from procurement to shipment, from upgrading to marketing...ENERCO aims to develop tailor-made coal products ....." Exporting stoker coal would be the cream on in the MCC ice.
