I would agree as a non lawyer. Seems stupid to put more money into Australia then because it could lead to their entire investment being frozen haha. I'd say there was an angle though otherwise they wouldn't be doing it. Doesn't mean it's an angle that would work, but they may be trying to at least manoeuvre some how.
Why are people invested here? Long timers or angling for a win in the process for a 10 x return?
