Anyone here got experience of a stock they’ve held who did onshore horizontal drilling? Overseas if not in Oz? What’s the format/timeframes for us investors to pay attention to, compared to standard vertical drilling where you just drill down for x weeks, stuff some stuff up just because you can, get to the pointy bit, do or die time, preferably discover luvly oil, conduct wireline logs, announce oil column, set completion string, perform production tests, announce flow rates, tie in to facility, bob’s your uncle, fanny’s your aunt. With a horizontal, you get to some oil compartment, then you keep going through more... I’m trying to get an idea of how the news flow goes at this point and how long the whole thing might take... anyone? Sounds like we are considering horizontal wells plural, not just the one, before we drill Rafa the right way up mid year. Thanks.
