So the first two drill holes at Weolyu intersected some long sections of Quartz sans any Au and Ag - Bugger! I was recently reading about the discovery of the Hishikari mine in Japan, and it too, took many holes to start striking bonanza grades. These were all over 100 m depth also. So, I suppose it was me being a little too optimistic thinking we might intersect bonanza grades, so early on in the piece. I have to admit.
The third hole looks far more promising though. Not sure if any gold or silver in it (assays pending) however, seems like quite a wide orebody with a reference to the angle. Will have to cross our fingers for these hole 3 results.
I really liked the confident and upbeat tone of this quarterly. Obviously there's many things coming through the pipeline that can't be reported yet. I think our money is backing some very high quality people on top of some great rocks. I'm happy to be as patient as long as it takes.
