Here in lies the benefit of the plan.
Within 30 days of acquiring the option, samples of ore are being sent to the CSIRO Dni plant to produce nickel and cobalt sulphate to send to potential offtake partners. No need to build a plant (save a couple of million there, and a couple of quarters), no need for permitting to dig up the samples (time, money and redtape saved there).
For all the HPA fans theres talk of producing HPA which fetches a pretty penny (25000 USD a tonne for 4n). Iron which if desired can be turned into pig iron or sold without further refining for special purpose and MgO which has a big market in qld.
