I could be completely barking up the wrong tree, connecting dots that aren't there etc etc but I believe the main advantage of AEB to QBL was in the processing of hemp for CBD oil. Any deal that QBL makes in relation to that (this announcement appears to be exactly that) would greatly advantage AEB.
