OPEC have agreed to cut by 1.2m barrels with additional 600k from others. WTI jumped 8.3% and Brent 9.2%. Brent reopened and down 50c = 0.96% but POO still way above that of yesterday. It will be bullish for WOR as hydrocarbon remains key sector but:
a) Will reduced production going fwd require development (capex) of new oil fields, refinaries etc?
b) Will higher POO boost world growth?
As always WOR's revenue depends almost entirely on new contracts. Only 2 ann so far this HY with a month left till we enter 2H17.
