    Hi Si.ptixs,

I'm not a passionate believer in the idea by any means but I do believe it would stand to reason. Weebit are advancing well with their technology, which I'm sure is getting closer and closer industry attention. From the limited research I've been able to do, it seems Weebit are shining brighter and brighter on the technology horizon. As Coby said in one of his interviews, whoever demonstrates they have a superior working product that is proven, others will quickly gravitate towards it. Consider the rivalry between Samsung and Apple. First to market with a superior product stands to gain much. Easier to buy out Weebit than to let them share their technology.

I'm also a bit miffed as to why such good news, such as Weebit proved memory retention lasts 10 years, leads to a fall in share price? Like others have said, who cares what's going on - we get to buy cheep shares. I agree but shares don't usually fall on good news. I can see someone shaking the tree.

Lastly the Ann produced a month or 2 ago, which stated that major shareholders such as David P etc. put their shares into escrow until March 31st next year, seems collaborative to me. Perhaps this is just to protect us small fry from market manipulation but I'm not convinced. If a TO bidder was to approach Weebit, I'm sure they would come baring promises of lucrative positions and vast salaries to our board of directors. It seems like they almost made a pact with each other to me. Obviously the closer to fab ready Weebit's product is, the more value it would add to the company. I did check the company's timeline and nothing significant seems to have been tabled for March. Meaning, I can't find any reason why they would be happy to release their shares back onto market on that date, such as some significant milestone being met, therefore pushing up the cost of a takeover bid.

Who knows though. These are just my thoughts and they're only founded on very loose circumstancial evidence. Like I said in a previous post, I would love to hear from someone more knowledgeable.
