Hi @Polly Waffle premium value depends on the make up of your distribution...what is your distribution and how does it compare to markets best suited to flake size category... Vanilla markets fall below 180 micron's while there are other markets out there suited for the premium prices that are captured above...Expandable and niche markets are well suited to the larger flake sizes and supply limited in nature...
A higher rate of yield is lost grinding and polishing to battery grade spec producing almost 100% purified graphite. In simple terms less grinding and higher retention of yield for premium markets.
There is real value in expandable markets offering highest margin's per ton mined...
