Good post gutumike. It is a hotcopper thing that when popular stocks (read qbl been on most viewed for sometime) get hammered you do see sometimes the sort of concentrated attacks by non holders. Some posters are genuine in offering balanced negative views but there are some noisy ones with agendas. Credit to company for providing further info on some of the criticism levied around volcan etc and like you feel what has been missing is the understanding of the value of the deals and forward plans by succinct investor presentation and independent research. I feel more comfortable on the credibility of management (not saying I had concerns but just general caution on any specs stocks) but more now understanding the value of the story in feeling I have been given lots of random pages which not easy to piece together. If story is good then it is just a matter of letting the story unfold and the company better communicating it. For a lot of specs the story can go down many directions and not end well so more of a matter of better understanding the story which looks promising but waiting for that exec summary to pull it altogether as story at this stage a little confusing and underdeveloped but I guess the authors had a rushed job to meet a deadline.
