My initial reaction was same as yours, but on reflection I think we need to consider the sort of role such an individual would have performed in each of these Companies. I see it as an individual with a skills-set employed to champion a transformation, similar to a change agent. Be it a culture change or behavioural change, there is a before and after spanning x years. Once the changes are embedded, the future worth of the expert is diminished. Maybe this explains the work / association history.
Therefore no red flag for me. I accept it as another step in pursuit of optimisation and excellence. Time will tell of course. Company very active on Twitter and dialogue with churches is clearly all aimed at lifting standards across the relationship. Look forward to the next round of Financials in May.
