There seems to have been very little liquidity for many months. This has allowed people to repeatedly push the SP down, using small amounts of cash, on very low volume. However, remember that this has been on very small volumes. Probably someone needs to sell 1m or so shares to realise some cash, or is getting cold feet re global share market falls, and doesn't want to risk waiting around for the next Quarterly financial report, or till later in the year.
I imagine that this will be just like SBM, where there was several months lag between when it became clear from announcements and financials that they were about to pay off the last of their debt, and hence have lots of cash in the bank, and available to pay SH, and when there was a rise in the SP, which only really kicked in after their first dividend was announced. However, to counter this, remember that it usually takes 7-8 years to double your money on the share market, so waiting a few more months should be fine, imo.
However, a good Quarterly report in the next couple of weeks would be nice, hopefully clearly showing cash in, and cash out paying off debts. Along with the amount of any outstanding debts, and anticipated repayment schedule in detail.
Also updated drilling results, which should be available now, and probably should have already been released imo. Along with any decision about plans on paying cash to SH. Also decision about future underground mining, plus updated drilling results from other areas.
With enough detail in this next quarterly report, and a clear picture about the future potential of the mine, and about paying cash back to share holders, the SP should improve, and interest in the company and potential buyers should also increase. Especially if someone is seriously looking at paying the company fees to build a pumped Hydro electricity facility.
Hopefully Board and Management haven't taken their eye off the main game of mining to focus on electricity?
