Not sure PTX has the question mark over it. Cant say for sure. The difference between first trial & 2nd was the switch from Carboplatin to Cytarabine. Gastro-intestinal illnesses & stomatitis are common side effects of many chemo drugs including cytarabine & are facilitated when immune cells are wiped out by chemo. Cytarabine is a classic for GI issues. I've seen and treated them many times in chemo patients. No fun & very painful. When we're talking about Chemo we always talk about side effects. Part of the territory unfortunately.
