Very good Ann- my mum died of this actually (was a human pin cushion for testing)
The most dangerous part is having to kill off the immune system completely to trial new drugs
If they can get rid of the need to do that by even keeping this trialling longer term in patients I imagine that would have a better rate of illness/survival too
