Hi All

It hasn't taken long at all to build the Protean WEC. And, it won't take long to deploy it, basically just put the buoy in the water and plug it in. Compare this to the other huge devices we are reading about needing expensive deployment (e.g. Pelamis), or the building of expensive hydro-electric pumping stations on the beach (e.g. Carnegie's CETO).

IMO don't listen to those comparing Protean with other large cumbersome and costly to build and deploy devices. The informed interest in the US tells you very clearly we have something special here.
