I received this explanation of the name Raya from KP.

The name "RAYA" is an old Hebrew term that means "Friendship". Interestingly the first Hebrew word used to describe love in "Song of Songs" is "Raya" which means basically a friend, companion, or soul-mate (Song of Songs 4:7). In this instance I think we can relate the name "Raya Group" to our "friends" and "partners" which are our shareholders and project partners.

apparently the word is used and understood in Indonesia.


I am annoyed my percentage of the company will be greatly reduced, I suspect the "sohisticated sharekholders" know something we don't.
