Just to put things in perspective in case someone figures “I’m invested already, might as well get some more in the raise”

We don’t know exactly when all shares were bought, but we know on the 6th of March, 2017, Mr Yogi became a substantial holder. The low for that day was $0.0216 or 2.16cents. There were a few days lower in August 2016, where the price hit 1.96cents, but there’s not enough volume there to suggest Mr Yogi bought the majority of shares at that price. And outside of those few 1.96cent days, the price between 2015 when NOR took over Monteray Mining Group, until the 6th or March 2017 when the holder crossed the 5% line, stayed above 2cents.

So lets just grab an average and say they paid 2cents a share (mind you the share price hit 13c at one point and who knows if they bought any during that period). But lets say average 2cents. With 54,911,909 shares owned, they spent approximately $1,098,238 (may be higher, hard for it to be lower but possible).

If the holder had never sold any of their shares, they would currently hold 54,911,909 shares and it would be worth $164,735.727.

In other words, they would have turned $1.1m into $164,000.

Luckily they did sell some shares. They sold 19,904,425 shares in December 2017 for $351,833.25.

They were left with 35,007,484 shares. Now due to not being a substantial holder any more, without T20 lists we don’t know how many this person still holds. However, if they still held those 35,007,484 shares today, they would be worth $105,022.425. They would be unlikely to be able to sell them at $0.003 though, so at $0.002 where there are buyers, those shares are worth $70,014.968.

In total, if Mr Yogi still held those remaining shares, they could sell them and would have turned a $1,098,238 (approximately) investment into $421,848.218.

Regardless of how the remaining shares were sold, Mr Yogi almost certainly (there were a few high days above 2cents he could have sold some at) sold any shares since then below what he initially bought them for.

Moral of the story, someone invested $1.1m in NOR shares and best case sold for approximately $421,000 (give or take $100,000) and worst case, had they not sold any, they would currently have a value of $164,735.

Meanwhile, the CEO gave himself millions of free shares, raised his salary to $268,000 and tried to give himself more free options last year (only withdrew the motion when it was clear it wouldn’t pass).

If you choose to invest, that’s entirely your choice. Good luck. The past would indicate you’ll need it.
