Your point about greed is a very good one. One only has to think back to the RWD/Proctor negotiations to see that a relatively small amount of money spent might have averted a massive delay.
At the AGM this year I was struck by MR taking a back seat to GC in every sense. I think we have to trust GC with doing a deal in a clinical manner which he has done before.
