Behind the doors soft diplomacy unlikely to help our Sino friends here: they need to put in a direct call to the Chair that simply says something like “...mate, the fancy frog and the like initiatives are great, but come back to us in a week on how you are going to reduce the cost base by $100 million annually..” then go public if no action and vote accordingly from there
