Two black horses are racing. Please guess which one will run faster. Lol.
By reading the ANS announcement, it could be interpreted that WAPRC investment in ANS and SDL through ANS is likely to be considered as part of China's One Belt, One Road (OBOR) initiative. This is a positive sign that port and rail infrastructure may also get China government’s funding. Everything has changed since China officially launched and actively promoting One Belt One Road since last year. Some old guards in this forum still carry on with old way of thinking due to bad experience in the past. It may be time for those old guards to move on.
Quoted from ANS announcement pages 26 and 27
Quoted
“…China encourages entities which are capable and qualified to proactively and pragmatically carry out outbound investments which are conducive to the construction of the “One Belt, One Road” initiative and surrounding, interconnecting infrastructure”
“…AustSino understands that the Proposed WAPRC Transaction and the Proposed Sundance Transaction both fall within the category of encouraged investments and do not fall within the categories of outbound investments which are either restricted or prohibited under the Guidelines”
