I was in Lynas up to a couple of years ago. It seems the Malaysian Government, where the refinement facilities are based, are not sure if they want Lynas there, local protests, organised by the same folk of questionable motivation, are common and the Chinese seem to control the price/s of rare earth which they seem to be able to do. I hope Wesfarmers know what they are doing but I seriously wonder if they do. Certainly LYC would not be on my want list. Let the market judge.
