Hi Sylah,
To be honest, Mythbusters has been a huge success - but it's better the company slowly finds other sources of revenue (30 eps to 12, alebit in a shorter timeframe).
They'll still have this revenue in the next financial year; however it'll come as a warning shot that this source needs to be replaced.
That said, management have come through time and time again with newer shows and always improved profits. In 2009, the company had a hit to NPAT to the tune of ~20%. This recoved in subsequent years and has increased since (see the nicely formatted table in the annual report). Probably also worth mentioning that the # of shares has not increased in years. Options were awared at the end of FY09, but since then, there's been nothing.
And if you're concerned about them not coming through with the goods - check their holdings (interests are aligned)... Between Borglund (MD), Ingram (Chairman) and Anthony Lee (Director), you've got 20% of the company holdings. Add in the 25% held by Fremantle Media (producers of Big Brother) and you've got a register that know the industry and will act when required.
While this all plays out, a purchase at $1.18 gives you a dividend of 6.7%... There are no 100% guarantees in anything, but in this case I believe the odds are truly in my favour.
