I have been with FSA for a few years. In my mind, there is no such thing as a perfect board or perfect share. However, FSA probably comes close. Good business models, focused on growing the business. They are not interested in talking up the shareprice. I have certainly been rewarded holding onto FSA. With growing profits and dividend payouts, the shareprice can only go one way in the long term.
The directors are not dreaming up ways of awarding themselves options or bonuses. They are however focused on dreaming up new business ideas like personal loans, payment options, etc.
A quick story, when the profit guidance came out, I walked over to a work colleague on my floor who holds FSA and attended the recent AGM. He was a bit surprised that I was so excited with the profit guidance. Apparently at the meeting it must have been discussed that the board was chasing a ROE of between 18 and 25 per cent for FY2015. He thought that was a good indicator that there was going to be good profit growth. I will watch the ROE figure with interest.
