Hmm, Id still argue it was never a turd, they had an expensive strategy (growth and expansion) which increased AISC and affected their production numbers. This strategy is now paying dividends, whilst it has caused some short term shareholder pain, the whole point of a business is to create long term shareholder wealth. People, investors just seem to think they deserve and expect returns as soon as their money is invested and really don't understand the actual costs of doing business and executing strategies to create the longer terms wealth.
