Telling everyone when they are going to produce gives competitors the chance to manipulate the price beofr they have even shipped product from the smelter. All of these sales contracts will have a benchmark price, which is easy to play games with.
It still appears to be producing at a fraction of the volume it was a year ago and it seems they only have one customer? What happened to all the worldwide sales they had? What is the smelter performance? What is this talk of "profitability" that keep talking about. Mention profit and you have to give guidance. All I can predict is a +$30 million loss for this year.
That's because the a Chinese removed their export tariffs and have opened the floodgates for tungsten export. Whilst management were sleeping/taking a year to push the share price down to 0.1c/ raise a couple of million bucks/sell the farm/learn how to do business in Asia, the competitors have taken their market.
Now the Chinese and Vietnamese competitors know exactly when to influence the benchmark price for tungsten thanks to pointless announcement.
