    Hi hereandnow,
    Thank you for the post.

    My assumptions were as follows:

That full production of 400 ton/day would be reached by 30 Sept.
That the ramp-up will be consistent.
    eg: 11 weeks to 30 Sept 30th
    That half way is week 6 @ 200 ton/day.

Now lets look at the first half ramp up to wk 6
    Week 1...........140 ton (20 ton/day)
    Week 2 ..........280 ton (40 ton/day)
    Week 3 ..........560 ton (80 ton/day)
    Week 4 ..........840 ton (120 ton/day)
    Week 5 ..........1120 ton (160 ton/day)
    Week 6...........1400 ton (200 ton/day)
    etc.

The miners have been working half time on development work down this mine for the past 18 months
so they should be familiar with the mine and its idiosyncrasies and rehearsed proceedures
and safety protocols umpteen times; otherwise why have we been paying them 50%
wage for half hours worked since Christmas 2012.

KRM has 524 Employees and one would assume that there ar about 80 at least in the mine
per shift. Now let's assume that 40 are at the mine face X 3 shifts per day
For week (1) this would mean 20.8 kgs per person per hour for those only at the rock face.
That's your check-on luggage at the airport. Assuming that the density of the ore is similar to a brick
    then that's about 5 bricks.

    And so on.

Even at the full production of 400 ton/day this would only be 16.66 ton an hour for 40 miners at the rockface or 416 kgs per person per hour (100 bricks.)

This is a very low volume operation in comparison to an open pit mine with a grade of say 1.3 G/T
and 5 to one strip rate. Such an operation would have to move 50 times the amount of rock and
crush, grind and process 10 times the amount of ore to get the same result with at least 50%
    higher costs.

Cheers and good luck to all.
