Your statement about ALL underestimated how long......is inaccurate. I for one, never bought mb’s misguided predictions of rocketing sales. It would be prudent to live in the more in the “now” and use trends in revenue or expense data to see where the company is placed. I do however look in the future but only one to two years ahead, but that is strongly reliant on the tends in the “now data”. So far there’s no evidence of a strong kick up in sales. We’ve had a few little spikes in sales in the past and it came settling down. Need more evidence of this nirvana.
The “not dwell on the past” comment of yours is disturbing. It’s a bit like saying just sweep up all that bad news under the carpet and forget about it. Clearly some of the ugly issues of the past (poor communication of the executive, high expenses, ineffective sales teams, very inaccurate predictions about sales etc) aren’t going to vanish overnight.
“But look forward to the future” : translation is lets keep on dreaming.
With this in mind, have many in this forum learnt about how excessive their expections were about EDE and are still struggling with disappointment. In the same time still getting that dream and hope message thrown around. Bit like a tug o war with the psychology of the investor in the middle.
