anyone buying now, around the 10-12c mark, and taking the offer, effectively averages down to around 7c, which still leaves you at a relatively risk free cash backed level. The offer, though odd, is possibly a way for all to bring their average down, given so many on the register are so deep underwater.
How much the price drops when they go "ex" is uncertain, but, no doubt the volume should be light as it would only be recent buying that would consider selling. IPO holders would still be facing substantial losses by selling.
It would appear that someone turned the air con back on in the Xcel office, following the market "winter",with RMX SI6 both been given a spruce up...........i'm actually suspecting that there may be a backlog of deals held back due to market conditions, and, maybe, with improving sentiment, Xcel are dusting off these stocks......SLZ may be in the line up as well??
