stockking, maybe you do have some knowledge about ophthalomlogy, but go and sit in the waiting room of a private opthalmologist I would be supprised if he would see less than 70-80 patients a day, and go to RNS or Sydney Eye hospitals, most registras see less than 20 patiets a day, there is no way the public system could cope, even if demand was there. There is so much shortage in ophthalmology that the goverment knows that the changes in medicare will not impact the service.
