That's why the SP is .005 and the MC is $10.07. It IS high risk and I'm sure that the people who have punted on this are "risk takers" but, in the context of this discussion, they, therefore, don't need to get that "warning" and negativity from past history from non holders every day of the week.
You say that "you'd say this exhibits many of the "attributes" of those failed stories". Actually, to the contrary, I reckon that this has far more logical positives than probably most of those 400+ zombie companies that currently litter the ASX.
They do have a very substantial asset which does have a prospective history of success and possible success; they have a very strong financial "supporter base" from S.I.'s and 38% from their own shareholders, strongly evidenced very recently; they will have a reliable generated cash flow when the IOG deal is finalized and at least one other producing well with the possibility of that increasing to three very shortly.
They have no debt and are building a convincing case that will enable them to get that finance in the near future.

No, I don't see many, if any, "attributes" of those failed stories.

What I do see is the constant reference to AKK's PAST history and what has and is happening elsewhere, which, was based upon nothing like what they have now.
Yes, it is high risk, but, people understand that with any punt on an exploration company with a S.P of HALF A CENT!!! This is not BHP or CRA, and does not deserve to be given such treatment by continual negativist posting here on this forum.

Tell all of us of those "plenty of better choices to put your money into" than AKK AT HALF A CENT???
Surely you are not missing the very point of putting money into a HALF A CENT company like AKK?? Surely?? Is that the answer???

This forum "should" be fun to share "like interests" but, not necessarily "like opinions", fun to open up and read, it's a fun punt and nothing more or less. Punters who have already and are contemplating punting on a half a cent share don't need to be warned of the risk. That's what pisses people off big time. Like punters getting a lecture for having a 100/1 bet in the Melbourne Cup. Give them a break.
    AKK ann-comments!!! Simple.
