Looks like this announcement has gone under the radar.
This lease is large and adjacent to GBZ's lease where GBZ made an announcement 2 days ago for a potential and very large 30-80Mt IOCG target. GBZ's shares doubled in response.
AIV beat 2 competing companies for these leases. One was GBZ and the other CDU. GBZ indicated this lease on their recent ann. but alas they will now have to amend their map and remove it.
AIV has a tiny MC of just $5.3M and around 105m shares on issue. It is now in a very favourable position with similar ground to GBZ.
As well AIV have another 29 leases either granted or in application stage in QLD.
