OK, just did a quick calc.
Last annual report (31/3/17) PRG reported they had $70.352M in their franking account. That's $0.27/share (about). That will support a ff dividend of $0.63/share with a $0.27 franking credit giving an all up value of $0.77/share in the hands of someone who can claim the full franking credit back.
So, a $3.02 buy out could deliver a capital return of $2.39 plus a special ff dividend of $0.63/share with a grossed up value of $3.16/share. If you're looking to sell before 17 October, the planned settlement date that's the selling price you'd use as the zero net gain for a buyer.
Of course, these numbers WILL change with about 6 months of updated data to settlement!
This was calculated by finding the profit per share that will deliver a $0.27 share (that's $0.9113 at 30% company tax rate) giving a NPAT of $0.63793.
