Although wouldn't the capping be to containn the price for a CR/placement?
IMHO the key aspect of the laterite is the metallurgy - CCAL is a BIG positive, but depends on the H2SO4 concentration (if thats what they used).
If thats 750kg of concentrated acid then the cost of the acid is more than the value of the metals extracted and any reuse becomes key. If its 750kg of 10% acid we are in a damn good position.
There is a Nitric acid pathway for laterites that has apparently has pretty good re-use so will be interested to see if they are also looking into that.
Though Nitric acid would be pretty expensive to source (apart from the safety/environmental issues)
