Just to add to this, not all LCE is equal, as you would have seen with ORE, tech grade 99% vs battery grade 99.5%. Upgrading to battery grade incurs additional costs.
Most LCE cost curves to date do not normalise for battery grade which makes direct comps almost impossible. For south American producers they report tech grade costs, for Chilean they are for tech grade and exclude royalties.
Yet to see a normalised 99.5% LCE cost curve.
Suspect once normalised, HM costs would be closer to that of the lowest cost spod producer and still a long way ahead of the pack.
