Price dragged down unnecessarily not because there was a perceived problem with the company's position or being overvalued but to make this deal go through.

If STO can reject on the basis of  'opportunism' then I think we also have a case, however, I get a sense of collusion here on all fronts.

Hope a lot of shorters got burnt today why should they have all the fun.

Have a feeling that SVW have done a deal with the other instos so this passes through smoothly, but if not just hope they hold out for more that 1.25. Surely the instos are feeling ripped off. Wonder how RDS / BG feel about this

While all you guys are trying to analyse and time this thing to death and obviously some of you are no good at it - judging by some of the posts - what's the long term game plan from a SVW point of view - this is the insight we need here. Surely they didn't buy in at $1.xx, have the companies merge, as they telegraphed, and then see mediocre performance after the merger as some of you are implying.

So this is becoming a question of who are the smartest guys in the room, is it SVW or HC posters.

Let's hope the forces that were there to squeeze the life out of the DLS and BPT SP are back in play to send the SP rocketing skywards again otherwise what was the point of the exercise, buy low, sell low???? Surely there has to be a target of at least $1.20 and future earnings just so SVW doesn't look incompetent. It goes without saying that there has to be some recovery in the POO which I am sure is factoring in here somewhere.

Spec well done, I bow to your prowess as much as it pains me to see that DLS has been short changed here.

Eshmun, quiet right oil is the key to what is happening in the ME and these prices will not stand for too much longer.

DLS shareholders taken for a ride - so poor result. Just hope this is only the first round and it is challenged.
