Good stuff eshmun. Roxgold may be the other company interested since they have a similar operation in Burkina. A lot of other mid cap Canadian companies are also in country. I think if any company had the possibility of a bidding war it would be WAF. The Canadians also more aggressive in terms of takeovers in Africa.
True about the all in cost numbers but I guess they are a bit more reliable due to already having done the open pit study and having information on power, labour, milling costs etc. Sprott were using Roxgold mining costs for their estimates which I gather is pretty similar ultra high grade. I tend to trust Sprott a bit more than other brokers since they do have mining engineers and geologists (the WAF analyst has a geology PhD, if that means anything). Plus they commit their own money.
