1) Your comment about being back in the ASX300 is a good point.
2) I also like the fact the biggest shareholders of IDX (approx. 20% worth) are backing the takeover. Correct me if I'm wrong but Wilson Asset Mgmt are a pretty big shareholder in both CAJ and IDX? If they're backing the deal, this sounds good to me.
3) Annual savings of $5 million is a big plus.
4) As a side issue, reinstatement of dividends in 2018 is a positive as it will attract a class of shareholders (eg small super funds) who won't invest in non-dividend paying company's.
5) I am concerned CAJ is approaching IDX and not vice versa, knowing that CAJ is the smaller of the 2. Is this because CAJ is somewhat cash rich right now? Smarter people out there may be able to enlighten me..
6) CAJ/IDX will have combined net debt of $70m. Am I right in saying this is easily manageable with an EBITDA of $64m in 2018?
