I have been considering taking a position in IDX for a while. Looks like I won't have to now.
Will certainly be a great outcome if the bid is successful. It will put us back in asx300 and on the radar of managed funds. Mid teens accretive EPS should see us get at least that much lift in the SP today.
Let's see what the IDX Board response is the offer. If they've been in discussions over the last year, then I assume they are on board with the takeover.
