IDX Drs can vote themselves a collective pay rise totalling up to $10M and the deal can still go through. Integration will cause jealousy between Drs from the 2 camps as their pay and reward structures will be aligned differently. Can't believe that we are paying a premium of 39% to VWAP for last month . It means that IDX, which had a materially lower market cap than CAJ prior to bid, will end up with 55% of company. Of course the institutions dived in. Looks like our new BOD and CEO are not as impressive as some thought. Frankly I lost a lot of respect for them when they gave sophs a big chunk of the company at 13c (supposedly to reduce debt to manageable levels) shortly before doing a deal that completely wiped out our debt (and gave us a big cash surplus) and caused our share price to move to circa 30c. Long-term retail shareholders were significantly scaled back during this capital raising, which was what I believe to be a transfer of shareholder value from retailers to sophs.
