Mixed feelings on this like everyone else. Happy to see news of an acquisition but shocked at who the target was and how much we were offering. The idea is growing on me though and after reading the AFR piece I can see some strategy in the decision.

Capitol Health set to move on Integral Diagnostics

"Interestingly, Integral Diagnostics was seen as a logical takeover target for either I-MED or its new owners. Capitol's move comes while I-MED and the bidders are all distracted on the bigger $1.2 billion-plus deal."

I haven't been keeping tabs on how much M&A activity there is in the health sector at the moment. Now that we have sold the NSW assets we are back to being a small fish in a big pond. If Enlitic's potential can be realized I think we would quickly become the hunted and that opportunity would be lost. Today's news hasn't gone unnoticed Capitol M & A involves mergers and acquisitions involving the brewing force of CITIC China market

I thought the news from our AGM was decent enough but with so many AGMs being held at the same time, we got lost in the crowd.
