I have often found that those emails although being read go unanswered.
Think about it mate. Plenty of retail punters around and if everyone emailed he wouldn't have time to do his job.

Maybe stay off the casual tone and send one again.
Start with apologizing.
Then if he doesn't answer call in.
Follow up and see how he responds.
Director's need to be paid well and be kept happy so that they can do well.
Its not usually director's discretion to cr or consolidate.
The chairman and others are as much on it.
