Invictus, the best source of information is old employees. The problem is that it is first or second hand information but without hard numbers or facts in the form of graphs or data.
As a result people are left to speculate.
The consistent message that I have been told by many is that CETO 5 was in the water for a long time but delivered negligible kWh. The issue was intermittency and spikes or surges. Further concerns lie around the harsh corrosive environment and ongoing operations and maintenance.
I do not agree that this is proprietary information or commercial in confidence. This information should have been released to market under basic disclosure requirements.
CCE not releasing this information to market is akin to BHP saying we have found a massive ore body but then not disclosing the quantity or value.
It is illegal for an ASX listed company to withhold information that is pivotal to make informed decisions about your investment. This company has been hiding too much for too long.
I understand from a close colleague this and other issues are being investigated by market regulators.
