The primary flaw in your decision making is that the redbrook investment will be good for you. In my experience, people who move in and take a 20% stake in companies, don't do it for you, they do it for themselves.
Whats to say that their plan isn't to cut a deal with the existing directors engage them as consultants or enter into an australian JV or literally anything. SSB gets a new shareholder that supports the status quo, it costs them what $200k, maybe $300k (at this rate Redbrook gets a 20% RIO)
The various moving parts here are pretty complex and don't assume that Redbrooks success will leave anything for anybody else.
