Pharma, to a certain extent you are partially right. But that is not the only reason for the poor financials. Receivables can take months or even a year to be paid and there will always be unevenness. . It is a continuous process and a challenge. I am sure there was one last year as well.
Another major contributing factor the company has, for poor financial performance, in my opinion, is the waste (unnecessary costs) which if properly addressed will positively affect the cash flow. Trust me, a good, street smart, hands on CEO can easily turn this company into cash positive within a very short period. Why doesn't the board do so? Let Maria et al concentrate on stratergies and growth. Leave the running of the company be done by somebody else.
