Your post sounds very informed, but also very deliberately vague. It's useless to list all the other so called competitors without outlining how much $$ they've 'stolen' from Catapult. Question that I have in mind: Do they offer EXACTLY the same offering as Catapult does? Are they capturing the same kind of data? Is their model the better way to go compared to Catapult? What are the competitive advantages that they have compared to Catapult?
Saying "Oh...Catapult has lost so and so customers" is not a piece of meaningful data if the reason why they have not captured those sales is not outlined. In any industry, there are many aspirants who would like to own the largest market share. Look at the phone industry, who is winning? Apple? Samsung? Huawei? The industry can easily allow the prosperity of a few competitors.
You are saying H1 shows little in way of gaining any specific market dominance - what metric were you using to come up with this conclusion? Your comment on 'larger losses' are also misleading - most high growth companies have consecutive losses on their way to greatness to chase after market share or consolidate technology advantage and mass adoption. What major signings were you looking for? Are you implying that any soccer teams is compelled to announce their partnership with Catapult? Seriously?!
I would prefer you spend more time on doing actual analysis (and sharing it) rather than just coming up with a spiel of not-so-helpful information.
My question to you now: Can you find me another company that has a bigger market share than Catapult and has more product offerings than Catapult and has more recurring revenues in the sports wearable & analytics space? If so, then let us know and please let Catapult Management know too so that we can get Management to consider altering their strategy!
