It seems to me that it is all well and good to have the largest JORC compliant iron ore resource in Mongolia but the quality of ore in the ground is low!
It is going to cost a lot to get the ore out of the ground and to remove the impurities to produce a saleable product such as that produced in Lab DTR test work.
I'd be interested to see more detail on the independent assessment of the NPV of the project.
I don't know where the company is going to get $562 million for Capex.
The quality of ore for Sundance is far superior to this. IMO a prospective investor would be better compensated for risk by joining forces with another capital provider and putting capital toward SDL's mine and rail development.
I'd be interested to hear what others think.
