Yes, it was you that said that the exclusion zone doesn't matter because its a liquid it will just flow all the way to the trench.
And the bottom of the pond is not clay dumb a, it's the salt crust (yours is expensive plastic).
The salt builds up at 70cm per year. When there's too much the walls get raised or you dig it out and make a pile.
