If Mace is genuinely a $1,200 per ounce margin deposit anything over 20,000 ounces is a material value enhancer based on the numbers that have been presented to date. This is serious money by any standard. Any extension of the resource in the medium term future can also have a huge bearing on the value of EXU.
I would prefer the RMS amalgamation as it reduces risk, however, that does not mean that EXU is not a valuable asset.
There is a lot of misinformation that has been spread here on both the RMS and EXU sides on HC. RMS do not “need” EXU, EXU hold good ground and have legal access to the land and the logical fit of money, mining expertise, infrastructure and reserves is compelling.
If EXU announce vastly improved project economics then there is plenty of value to be had under Plan A or Plan B. It is obvious that the lowest risk option is for RMS to develop the assets.
