One aspect of this report that has been ignored by all, has been KRR announcement that they are investigating “benefication”
Up until now krr has been applying acid leach to the host rock with no attempt at benefication. No wonder the capex and opex are so large.
if you can expel virtually all of the rubbish through benefication while keeping the vanadium , then acid leach the rest, your operating plant,as well as the required acid will be much smaller. Significantly Lower capex and opex. Australia is at the cutting edge of this new technology.
